Born into an entertainment family in London, England,
Barry McCloud cannot remember a time when he has not been a part
of show business. Starting out as a musician during the rock’n’roll
and folk eras, he became a talent agent for such stars as Mungo
Jerry, Humble Pie, Fleetwood Mac and Billy Connelly. During the
1970s, he added songwriter and record producer credits to his
resumé. His love of Country music lead him to write "Definitive
Country: The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Country Music and It’s
Performers," which became one of the leading Country Music
reference works. In 1992, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee which
has remained his home. Photography started for him as a way of
obtaining unique celebrity images for his feature story writing.
Soon, it took on a life of its own and he is now considered to
be one of the top in-performance and music celebrity photographers.
He is currently Editor of "Tour Guide Journal," the
leading concert touring magazine in the States. He is also the
magazine’s photographer and senior writer. He also operates
one of Country Music’s leading websites, countrymusicfactsandnews.com.

Dance Theater, North American Country Music Association International,
