Photographic
portraits have a life of their own, "capturing little bits
of spirit every time the shutter clicks," says Harry Langdon,
who has been in demand as a celebrity portrait photographer for
decades.
The son of a silent screen comedian after whom he was named, Langdon
feels " a tremendous sense of responsibility" to his
clients, both the stars and those who would be stars. And, he
muses, during an interview in his Beverly Hills studio, portrait
photography is not what it once was.
